DSP SUBMISSIONS

In order to submit your work, you will need the following:

• Cover Letter
• Synopsis of up to 1,500 WORDS
• First three chapters (if applicable)
• Manuscripts should in the range of 35,000 – 40,000 words per book.
• Preferred submission format is as Word docx, doc or pdf files.
• Times New Roman font at size 12.
• One inch border all round.  
• Please submit the full manuscript with a synopsis or a detailed plot of your story.  
• Always write your books with a series in mind.  
• The central character must be deeply woven into Western lore. Readers flock to characters who are gunslingers, sheriffs, mountain men, frontiersmen, etc.  
• The ending of each book needs to have a satisfactory ending with the character’s story being able to carry on to the next book – or seeds of the next book interwoven into the last couple of chapters.  
• We look for one new novel around every 40 days. Six books equals a season.
  

All covers must fit the formula. The character’s name must feature on the cover at the top followed by the character’s occupation, eg. U.S. Marshal Robert Jones.
